We are looking for a maximum of two people to share with two women, a 61 year old professor and a 40 year old magazine editor, both leading quiet lives, interested in the outdoors, films, cooking, books. One room has an en suite shower room, the other has its own shower room a floor below. Share the sitting room, kitchen diner, laundry, garden, and terraces.
Lewisham has a traditional London street market and high street stores; Blackheath, at the top of the hill, has boutiques and restaurants; walk through the Royal Park to Greenwich, a major tourist location with the Royal Observatory, Meridian Line, Cutty Sark clipper, Inigo Jones architecture, Thames foot tunnel, and craft markets. Overland trains go into London Bridge, Waterloo, Victoria, Cannon Street, and Charing Cross central London stations, placing Trafalgar Square fourteen minutes away. The DLR goes directly to London City Airport and into the City via Docklands. Night buses from central London terminate at Lewisham bus station, and black London cabs will bring you to Lewisham station, giving you transport at any time of the day or night.
If you need to be at a north London university, this wouldn't be your best location: but we are very well located for any central and south university, or for the British Library, Wellcome Trust, British Museum, or London Library.
