Less than 10 minutes walk to the train station, a little more to the beach, and closer to bus stops, it is on direct route to UWA. Close to Restaurants and shopping it is in a residential area located between the river and the sea. The closest beach is Leighton Beach where dogs are allowed off the leash, but we are also close to Cottesloe Beach which is one of the favorite swimming beaches in Perth. Broadband/wireless internet, TV, stereo system, quality cookware and electrical items, and tropical fish aquarium. It is a beautiful place in Perth to be living during the summer. The house stays quite cool in summer due to the shade and the proximity to the sea breeze. The windows catch all the breezes when needed. My garden pretty much looks after itself, though a little TLC goes a long way. There is a small fishpond which provides the sound of trickling water. In the cold weather there is a gas heater which warms the place up quickly with the flick of a switch. The hot water system is instant, so one never runs out of hot water. This home is ideal for some one who likes their home to be a sanctuary. It is very private and secure, though just a short walk outside there is a choice of restaurants, beaches, river cycling tracks, is close to Fremantle and Perth and all the major hospitals and universities. It is like a little bit of country in the city.
