Cat-sitter wanted for lovely 1 br flat in zone 1, end of August
We have a one-bedroom flat available for home- and cat-sitting in central London over the Easter long weekend and also for a week at the end of April. The flat is located near Elephant and Castle station, on the third floor of a beautiful Peabody Trust complex, with two sets of bay windows and a lot of light. We have one double bedroom and a big sitting room, large sunny kitchen with washer, and full bath. Also included are two adorable cats who love to eat and play, in that order! We are going away for the long weekend over Easter, and also for a week at the end of April. Looking for holidaymakers or nice Londoners who want to get away from their flatmates for a few days.
The neighborhood is "up and coming" but quite safe and in Zone 1. London Bridge, the South Bank, Waterloo, and Westminster are easily accessible by foot (15-30 min). There are lots of buses to every part of London, and the E&C tube/train station is on the Northern (Bank branch) and Bakerloo lines. If you're interested in art, we have also got museum memberships to the Tate and ICA. :)
As for the kitties, Cornelius is our big tabby cat, who is very sweet but a bit emo, and Angela, who can be cautious of new people at first but then loves to climb and play. They can be rambunctious, especially at breakfast time, but are both good-tempered and friendly. Corny likes a nice lap, and Angie's purr is ten times as big as she is. Serious pet people only, please! (That is, willing to feed and scoop the poop, as well as play.)
