Bright Reykjavík apartment in city centre - university walking distance

Description

This is a bright and lively apartment in the centre of Reykjavík. It is fully furnished with one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen, a dining area and a living room with a large desk. The apartment is on the second floor, with a green view of the surrounding gardens and plenty of sunlight. The dining and living area receives both morning and evening sunlight in the summer. The Laugavegur main street is a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment, with restaurants, cafés, bakery, supermarket and a minimarket within the same walking distance. The street is a quiet residential street close to the Hljómskálagarður park and the duck pond Tjörnin. The route to the University of Iceland crosses the park and is a lovely short walk, 10-15 minutes. Walking to the Reykjavík University takes approximately 30 minutes. Finally, there are two local public swimming pools in 15 and 20 minutes walking distance, perfect for relaxing in the evening or enjoying the good weather. The apartment is perfect for a couple or a single person. I personally enjoy listening to music and reading, so I have set up a decent sound system and there are plenty of comfortable sofas or chairs to dive into a book. The kitchen is small but functional and I really enjoy cooking in it. The apartment is open and bright, with good ventilation and good radiators for the winter.
