I am looking for a professor, post-doc, grad student, researcher, artist, writer, freelancer etc. who will be in Berlin this spring semester. I will be teaching at UC Berkeley for the spring semester. My apartment in Berlin is in an incredible neighborhood, is spacious, features tall ceilings and natural light, and is fully furnished. My dates as flexible. I can negotiate on either the price of the apartment for the duration of the stay or for a stay that does not cover the entire duration. The apartment is 700 sq ft/ 65 sq m and has 3 rooms (living room/ office, bedroom, kitchen), 1 bathroom, and a balcony. The apartment is located on a hip street with lots of cafes and restaurants, but it is rarely noisy and has lots of trees. *KITCHEN:* Modern and renovated, it has an open layout and a beautiful wooden island that doubles for food prep and eating. Lots of counter space wraps around the back wall, and a breakfast nook overlooks the courtyard of ivy-covered brick buildings. There is ample cabinet space. It comes with all the standard appliances (toaster, microwave, blender, coffee grinder, and a large refrigerator with freezer) and features an induction-top stove. *LIVING ROOM/ OFFICE/ DINING ROOM*: This is an alt-bau apartment that has high ceilings and spacious floor plans. The largest room is divided between an office/ dining area (you choose) and a big coach with coffee tables. The office desk/dining table seats 6 people and is by a large bookcase and corner shelving. The living room area has a huge couch, carpet, and coffee tables, and is very cozy with a great view of the street. *BEDROOM*: The bedroom is smaller, but has a lofted queen-size bed with two pull-out wardrobes underneath for lots of storage. The under-bed wardrobe and closets were customer-made and very practical. The washing machine is in a corner behind a curtain in the bedroom. *BATHROOM* The modern, renovated bathroom features beautiful green tiles, a large glass-encased shower, and shelving units. *Balcony* : Street-facing without any overhead structures, the balcony overlooks beautiful facades and is a great place to watch the sunset.
