As I will be in Italy for archival research between February and March, I am offering my lovely room for a short-term stay. Location: The apartment is nestled between Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg, a picturesque neighborhood renowned for its safety, beauty, and abundance of cultural offerings. Museum Island, Humboldt University, and many art galleries are within walking distance. From restaurants, weekly food markets, and cozy bars to flea markets, charming local shops, bookstores, and parks, you will find yourself in a delightful, historically rich environment in the previous East Germany. The Space: My room is cozy and efficiently organized with a bed, desk, 6 dressers, and a clothes rack. The apartment is fully furnished and boasts spacious and luminous common areas, including a large living room with a built-in bookcase and a kitchen equipped with a wooden island and a dining table for up to 10 people. Adding to the apartment's charm are several plants, a projector, and a high-quality vinyl player and speakers. The ambiance of the apartment is truly breathtaking, designed for comfort, creativity, and social gatherings. What You Will Find: For your convenience, the kitchen comes fully stocked with all the essentials for cooking, and cleaning supplies are readily available throughout the apartment. There are a washer, a a lot of racks to hang your clothes. To ensure your utmost comfort, I can furnish clean bed sheets, blankets, and towels for your stay. Should you need it, I can also leave you my bicycle: Berlin is an extremely bike-friendly city, and everything is reachable by bike under 50 minutes. Ideal for: I am looking for a respectful and tidy individual who appreciates the beauty and tranquility of this space as much as I do. It's important to me that you feel at home, able to host friends and colleagues for memorable dinner parties or quiet get-togethers, provided the apartment is cared for and excessive noise is avoided.
