Sunny room for short-term rental in Berlin (inner-ring/K-61)

Description

Trump and the Afd are evil. That said, I am looking for a reliable, clean and friendly short-term (3 to 6 months) roommate, gender doesn't matter, to share a large 4th-floor walk-up. The available room is normally the guest room. The very comfortable sofa-bed can be folded open but is big enough to sleep on when closed. I am out of town a good third (or a lot more) of the time – my wife lives in Spain – so you have to be equally comfortable with or without a roommate. I am translator, bad-film blogger and artist, originally from California, who has lived in Berlin for over 30 years. ("Luke, I am old enough to be your father.") I'm also friendly and reliable and clean and social and not too loud; am bad at telling jokes but laugh easily and definitely not a party animal (tho I do have huge circle of friends). Favorite movies – Paul Leni's Cat and the Canary (1927) & Everything Everywhere All at Once; fav book – (f) Steinbeck's Of Mice & Men & (nf) Mackay's Extraordinary Popular Delusions & the Madness of Crowds; fav mags – The New Yorker & Raw Vision & the cooking mag of the local Edeka food store; fav food – Sauerbraten and pumpkin pie; fav music – (group) Otros Aires; (type) chill, classical, electro tango & old school dance music & 80s. Fav activities: meeting friends, watching movies, long walks and thrift shopping. Fav drinks: coffee, Spanish wine, Czech beer, and red grape and/or grapefruit juice.
