We will be studying overseas for at least four years and we are looking to rent out our London home during that time in 6 - 12 month slots or for an indefinite period. Our three bedroom house is suitable for a house-share or a family. The local parks and schools make it a highly sought after area among families. The proximity to Dalston Kingsland and Hackney Wick make it a very desirable spot for students to socialise. The many cafes are popular with the self-employed and entrepreneurs. Incredible connections all a short walk away. Trains from Dalston Kingsland (Overground to West London/Victoria Line), Dalston Junction (Overground to South London, Peckham, Docklands), Hackney Downs (trains to Liverpool Street main station and Gatwick Airport) and Hackney Central (to Hackney Wick and Stratford main station). Countless essential bus routes. 40 mins cycle to central London on good cycle paths. We find it a great location to commute to East London Universities such as Queen Mary UoL, Kings Cross campuses and UCL, SOAS, Birkbeck and the British Library. There are Turkish shops open all hours and major Supermarkets all a short walk away, and Ridley Road Market, Growing Communities market and Broadway Market offer great fresh or artisanal foods. The Rio Cinema, Hackney Downs, Clissold Park (and pool), London Fields (and lido) offer great recreation. Our terraced house is part-furnished (negotiable) and decorated to a high standard, with wooden floors throughout and carpeted stairs. The kitchen is equipped with a Bosch dishwasher, an electric oven with excellent induction stove, and a new top-model fridge freezer (self-defrosting). Under the stairs we keep a new quiet-model washing machine and we dry clothes above the boiler in the lounge or in the garden in warmer months. There is a mural of Totoro in one bedroom upstairs, which is popular with kids. The garden is a lovely paved sun-trap with trees and a wooden bench for eating outside. It is inside a quiet courtyard that makes for a bit of calm in the city. There is a toilet and sink downstairs in hallway, and a bathroom upstairs with enamel bath and shower and an attractive skylight. In the front porch there is a door to a store room that serves as excellent secure bike storage for several bikes, extra food storage if you like to buy in bulk, and shelves for toys, games and sports equipment.
