The building has a large outdoor patio with grill available for residents and a bike lockstand, and has its own laundry room. 24/7 security cameras operate in the public areas of the building. We have housed many professors and visiting scholars over the years, to their universal commendation. (One of the owners is a former Cal Visiting Scholar himself.) Location gives easy access to BART and all the entertainment/dining options of downtown Berkeley. The Trader Joe's market is in the same block and Saturday's Berkeley Farmers' Market a few minutes walk away.
