We are 2 miles due south of Northwestern University’s Evanston campus and 2 miles due north of Loyola University’s Rogers Park campus. Situated on a tree-lined street, the unit has hardwood floors throughout, comfortable bedrooms and a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, gas fireplace in living room and a sun room looking out on the backyard patio. The patio has raised beds for flowers or vegetables. The unit is on the second floor of a duplex. We’ve held on to the charm by keeping much of the original woodwork and paned doors between rooms. So there is some floor creaking that comes with older homes. The unit has all modern amenities including a microwave, gas stove, and convection oven. There are two washers and dryers in the basement shared with the first floor unit. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking most any meal, and there is a premium Keurig coffee maker as well. For the beach we have a buggy, umbrella, and beach chairs. We also have 2 or 3 bicycles available for your use. Our apartment’s current set-up is ideal for a couple who each desire their own office, as we have a primary bedroom and the other bedrooms serve as our offices. However, one of our offices can be easily converted with a Queen bed that we would provide. And the other office could be converted to a small bedroom suitable for a child or teen.
