Hello, We are a family of 4 with two children and a golden retriever, and are going on sabbatical for 6 months. So we're making our lovely house available to you, where you'll feel right at home! All you have to do is put your things down, as the house has been completely renovated and comes fully furnished. Located in La Chaux, the house is a 20-minute drive from the EPFL/Lausanne campus. It has all the advantages of the countryside (friendly village, calm, nature) while being close to all amenities (school, butcher's, restaurants, cultural life, cinema). The bus to Lausanne, Morges or Geneva is a 100m walk away. The house is laid out as follows: Garden level: - bedroom with double bed; - a shower room with WC; - a cellar; - laundry room with washing machine and dryer; - a machine room; - garage (with covered parking space). 1st floor : - 1 large bedroom with double bed, desk and built-in closets. - 1 bedroom with dressing room. It is not overlooked, and is bordered by a quiet farm road. Serenity guaranteed! The 400m2 garden has 4 parking spaces (including two under a carport). An electronic charger is available. The house is rented fully furnished (bedding, crockery, linen, various household appliances, household cleaning equipment, childcare equipment, bicycles with children's cart). The region is very pleasant and dynamic. You'll find plenty of sporting activities for the whole family in the mountains (hiking, climbing, horseback riding, cycling) and on the lake (paddle, sailing, swimming). Cossonay (5min from the house) also has plenty of cultural activities: library, festival, cinema, exhibitions. Less than 10min from the house, you'll also find organic farms and markets where you can buy all your local vegetables, fruit, meat and dairy products.
