Elegant Paris apartment in the 5th (nr Mouffetard)

I stayed for a month in February, during which time my husband and mother also came to visit. The home itself is wonderful, with an impressive library and well equipped kitchen for those like me who love to read and cook! Bed and sofabed were very comfortable, high quality linens. Neighborhood is fantastic, within walking distance of the historic Rue Mouffetard and the Jardin des Plantes. Owners are experienced hosts - very kind and accommodating, excellent communicators, repsonsive to questions and needs. I especially appreciated their local recommendations and very detailed and thoughtful orientation packet. Also appreciated their written contract: professional and thorough, made me feel safe and secure. Highly recommend!

We stayed two months in this nice appartment. It is excellent for a couple, with two working places in the living rooms, a beatiful atmoshere, and not the least an interesting book collection. The appartment has a perfect location close to nice resutants and shops as well as nice parts of Paris within walking distance. We had a very useful and friendly communication with our hosts who were eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. This appartmen will be our first choice if we were to return to Paris.

I have stayed in Vivien's place since September and am looking forward to returning in early January. The apartment is in a very quiet street in the V arrondissement, in an 18th century building with a view of a small park across the street. It is nicely furnished (including an excellent bed) with all the amenities that one needs. Close to shopping, restaurants, the Jardin de Plantes, the Sorbonnes and several Metro stops. The owners are welcoming and very responsive in their communication. Highly recommended!

We rented the apartment from October through March. This apartment was our best rental experience. The owners lived in the apartment for 20 years, so it feels like home. The furniture is comfortable. The wooden beam separating the dining area from the living room is striking, as is the huge, marble fireplace with gold-plated mirror. You can look out at a small park across the way to see kids on slides. Kitchen is well-stocked, and stove and washer are perfect. New sound-proof windows block outside noise. The building is quiet, with no noise after 9:45, including electronic noises. Owners are first-class. Questions were dealt with immediately. Security deposit was returned based on trust rather than inspection

My stay was for one month in May-June. This is a large apartment for Paris and quite comfortable, only one floor up, lots of desk/study space, with weekly cleaning service. It is in a very good location for getting around the city on foot or by public transport, overlooking a small park, but also in a lively neighborhood that gets lots of foot and auto traffic and there are lots of families with young children, so it can be noisy when the windows are open. Convenient to all shopping and especially the rue Mouffetard market. Kitchen is well-equipped, and there is decent closet space. The owners were helpful and accessible, left detailed instructions and there were no problems with the rent payment. Note that utilities are extra.
