Convenient 2BR apartment right next to metro in Gracia / St Gervasi

Our Home Recently remodeled two-bedroom, 65m2 (700 sq feet) apartment located 30 meters/yards from the Vallcarca Metro Station (L3, green line). Five minute walk from Gaudi's park Güell, two minute walk to Puxtet park, ten minute walk to the Collserola mountains. AC, heat, laundry, dishwasher, good security, elevator, wheelchair accessible, Wifi, phone, water filter. Set back from the street and very quiet - no street noise whatsoever. The apartment is furnished, but will not be full of personal items as shown in the photos. There's a king sized bed in the main bedroom and a bunkbed in the second bedroom. There's a nice piano (Yamaha Clavinova) and an acoustic guitar, for the musical. The apartment also has wifi, a landline phone, and a printer. We have a terrific cleaning lady who also cooks excellent Spanish food, she can come along with the place if desired. Our Neighborhood Quiet neighborhood. This is the upper part of Gracia/Sant Gervasi (not the loud part known for its bars and restaurants, rather, the quiet part). Central Gracia is a 10 minute walk or a 5 minute metro ride away. The city of Barcelona slopes from the Collserola foothills down the to the sea. This apartment is located pretty far up the hill, which means its a bit cooler than the center and you get nice breezes. The foothills begin about 1km (half mile or so) further up from us. Public transit in Barcelona is very good. We are 30 meters/yards from the Vallcarca station on the green line (L3) of the metro. Dead center Barcelona (Plaza Catalunya) is 10 minutes on the metro, on the same line. The beach is another five minutes. The 92, 22 and 28 buses stop out front. Gaudi's Parc Güell is a 10 minute walk, another nice park called Putxet is just up the street. There is a supermarket a block up the street that delivers, bakeries too, a great library (Jaume Fuster) nearby at Plaza Lesseps, and good movie theaters (Verdi and Verdi Park) just down the hill in Gracia. About Us I am from Barcelona and my husband is from the US. We're currently living in New York and teaching at a K-12 school there. Our two daughters (now 10 and 14) both attended schools in Barcelona until 2013. We were involved in the local schools then and have stayed in touch, so we can help if you're coming with kids and need help figuring out school options. We're also versed in dealing with residency paperwork, etc, and happy to help navigate the local bureaucracy. Timeframe We usually rent for a year or more, but are flexible.
