This is a 1942 home that has had several upgrades--a new kitchen in the early 00s and a new upstairs (master) bathroom in 2018. Upstairs: The master bedroom is spacious with a desk and chair for easy work-from-home days, a nice Casper mattress, and new rugs and fresh paint. Main floor: There are also two bedrooms on the main floor, one recently painted and with new windows. One has a full bed, the other a twin. The twin room has a desk (well used, but functional). There is a full bath, with tub, on the main floor. The kitchen is great, and comes with all sorts of extras--Kitchen Aid mixer, pasta maker, and all the basic appliances. You will love cooking in this kitchen. The living room has a non-functional fireplace and easily seats six. Lower: The basement has a large TV and a third bathroom, and could sleep another person or two on the pull-out Ikea (so, nothing special) couch. The laundry area is in the basement as well. Outside: There is a gas grill and outdoor dining set on the patio, just off the kitchen. There is space for your car, with electric charging if desired, in the garage. There is also a fun treehouse that is stable but has not been used in a few years. :( The neighborhood is wonderful, with walking paths around a lake, woods, a dog park, zoo, aquatic park, and golf course nearby. Great biking paths nearby as well. We love this house and hope to find the perfect match for the coming academic year!

Comments: We really should refinish our wood floors, but decided instead to wait and allow pets for the coming sabbatical. The floors are fine! But will definitely look well used. Have recently painted several rooms and the upstairs bathroom is brand new.
