Your guests can spend the night thanks to the pull-out couch in the basement den that converts to a double. There are two bathrooms in the home, one on each floor. Note that the upstairs bathroom only has a bath, perfect for the kids. The showers are taken in the basement bathroom with plenty of hot water supply. You will be sharing the space with Stella, a mostly-quiet and at-times overly affectionate cat who will require feeding and litter care. North Burnaby, or Burnaby Heights as the locals call it, is a great, safe neighborhood. The home is five walking blocks down from the main artery that has shops and markets and banks and liquor store and plenty of restaurants, with the extra convenience that you can take one bus which takes you directly downtown to SFU's Harbour Centre campus, one bus directly to BCIT's Burnaby campus, or one bus East to SFU's Burnaby Mountain campus, each in about 30 minutes. Don't care much for the bus? You can borrow bikes and cycle around town on the many bike lanes, or enquire about use of the car.
