Our house is located just to the east of Magdalen Bridge and within easy walking or cycling distance from Oxford's centre with its wealth of museums and galleries, parks and colleges as well as a host of cafes, bars, shops, restaurants of all kinds and cuisines, and popular historic pubs. Our light and airy home offers two double bedrooms and two bathrooms (plus a third small toilet), as well as a fully equipped kitchen-dining room and a spacious, sunny living room with two very comfortable large sofas, a study area overlooking the garden and clear glass roofing through which you can watch clouds passing by day and the moon and stars by night. The house is set up with a full-fibre Internet connection. Two bicycles are available for riding into town or out along the river's tow-path (only a few minutes away). Easy buses into the city, the station or further afield into the surrounding areas stop frequently at both ends of our street. There is a local supermarket at 8-10 minutes' walk, open 7a.m-11p.m every day. The stops for the regular Oxford 'Tube' buses to central London (24-hr/7-day service), as well as buses to Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports are all situated within a 15 minute walk from the house. We can arrange for local parking permits for one car if required. We are lucky enough to have a garden that faces south, with the lawn and patio making a lovely sun-trap during the spring and summer months. If you are looking for wider green spaces, the protected river-meadow reserve of Aston's Eyot is only a few minutes' walk from the door, with Oxford's famous Botanic Garden just the other side of Magdalen Bridge (a 10 to 12-minute walk), where you can also hire a punt or rowing boat to explore the twisting backwaters behind the colleges.
