This fully furnished, one bedroom apartment is located in Délibáb street, in the middle of the calm, green, embassy neighborhood close to the center of the city, just a two-minute walk from Heroes’ Square (Hösök tere) and the Municipal Garden (Városliget). Museums and sport facilities, including a running track and thermal bath (Széchenyi Fürdö) are within walking distance in the Municipal Garden. There is easy public transport access to anywhere via the M1 metro line (stops are a 3-minute walk away) and via several bus and trolley-bus lines. Supermarket (Spar) and smaller grocery shops are within walking distance. The apartment is on the second floor (third floor for Americans, no elevator), in a small, quiet apartment building in a large garden. It includes a bedroom with a queen size bed, a living room, a large kitchen with a dining table that can seat up to six, and a bathroom with a large tub. The apartment is fully furnished and outfitted, including all appliances (ceramic range, oven, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine), internet and entertainment (Wi-Fi, TV, DVD player, stereo), and all basic household items (sheets, towels, china, cutlery, pots/pans, etc.). No air conditioning. It is ideal for an individual or a couple without children. No pets of any sort or smoking allowed. The rent includes all charges and utilities (central heating, water, electricity, high-speed wireless internet, cable TV, apartment building fees) and is negotiable. The owner is a Hungarian academic working and living in the UK. Fulbright scholars, academics, and professionals have rented the apartment to their satisfaction in the past few years --- references are available on request. The most recent tenant, a Fulbright Fellow, living in the apartment during the 2023-2024 academic year, authorized me to post on his behalf the following review: "The Délibáb u. apartment is in a relatively quiet area while still being a short walk to Heroes' Square, City Park, and the well connected metro 1 line. The owner, Miklos, was very friendly, helpful, and easy to reach throughout my 9 month stay there. The apartment itself is quite spacious with lots of greenery outside the windows and sunlight coming in. It is a perfect location for anyone looking to make use of the massive city park and museum of fine arts nearby. Compared to the downtown area (which is still quite accessible) it is much quieter and more livable for a long term stay. I would highly recommend it!"
