I am a professor at UCSB and I’m going on academic leave in the school year 2023-2024, hence my need to rent out my home. My beautiful condo features interior with Art Deco sensibilities and a living room with gorgeous high ceiling. It has two bedrooms plus a loft ready to turn into a third bedroom. Spacious walk-in closet. Two dedicated parking spaces (one carport, and one right outside the yard). Electronic central heating, efficient and environmental friendly. Spacious built-in cabinets in the main bedroom, guest bedroom, and the hallway. The kitchen is well equipped with ample counter space, sleek cabinetry, and brand-new appliances (e.g., a highend Vitamix blender). It also has a spacious yard and a well curated garden, where my passion fruit, fig, and pineapple guava trees have been thriving. We are looking at a good harvest of fruits this coming summer and fall, and you’ll be amazed by the sheer size of my passion fruit tree. My condo is situated in a lively neighborhood, and you'll have easy access to supermarkets, local cafes, shops, movie theaters, and two bus lines which will take you to Santa Barbara and UCSB campus. It is also perfectly positioned within a mere 10-20 minute drive from a number of most breathtaking beaches in the Santa Barbara area. I'm looking for a tenant who preferably will rent the whole year from 9/1/2023 to 8/31/2024. Earlier move-in and out dates are negotiable. I hope to find someone who will take good care of my place, which has meticulously maintained and has never been a rental before.
