A 10 mn walk from the train station (Gare Marseille Saint-Charles), 5 mn walk to the metro and tram lines, and 15 mn walk to the old port. There is an open vegetable and fruit market three times a week near by ( 5 minutes walk) and a superb flower market every Saturday morning around the corner. The Law School and Marseille Provence University, several theaters, the opera house and many museums, are all within walking distance.
