Charming house in Freiburg, the Green City

Our home is a charming semi detached house built in 1928. It is surrounded by a garden and is ideally located right next to the river Dreisam, in easy walking distance to the wooded foothills of the Black Forest, yet only a 20min walk or 5min bicycle ride to the city center. Although it is a quiet neighbourhood to the tram stop it's only 200m, there is a mall for almost everything you need 5min away and a fantastic bakery around the corner. Pubs, beer gardens and restaurants are also close. Right in front of our house there is a little park where you find the Freiburger Hochschule für Musik with the possibility to listen to classical and modern music almost every day.
We have two daughters (35/31 years), one living in Berlin, the other one in Cologne. Since they and their families like to drop by now and again we will only offer part of the house for exchange, so it will be perfect for a single person, a couple or a small family.
The house has 3 stories plus a basement (with a work bench...), solid wooden floors, garden, fireplace, 2 balconies and a small winter garden, you can enjoy light-flooded rooms all day long. Depending on the number of exchange guests we can offer up to two bedrooms, three big living rooms, a kitchen and two bathrooms.
You can park a car right in front of the house but you will scarcelý need it in town, just for trips to the Black Forest, France (30km) or Switzerland (60km).
