Spacious Victorian close to UPenn, CHOP,University of Sciences

My family and I own a 3 bedroom home and we would like to share or exchange it with you, with use of 2 bedrooms (1 bedroom reserved for owner items). The first floor is fully-furnished (living room, dining room, kitchen, half bath) plus washer and dryer in the basement. On the 2nd floor there is a full bath and the 2 bedrooms for use are fully furnished. The house also has a front porch and garden, as well as a back garden. Use our home as the home base to explore Philadelphia and cities close by: New York in 2h and Washington DC in 2-3 h by train or bus. New Jersey/East coast beaches and the Pennsylvania Amish country are within 1-2 hour drive. There are also 36 gardens within Philly or close by, including Longwood Gardens and Bartram’s Garden. We are happy to share a list of our favorite day trips with you. The home is on a tree-lined block in University City district at 10 min with 34 trolley to University of Pennsylvania, Drexel, University of the Sciences and CHOP, and 20 min to Center City. 34 Trolley stop (Cedar Park and Baltimore ave) is a 3 min walk. Nearby are many eclectic shops, international restaurants, coffee shops and grocery shops (Mariposa Food Coop, Dock Street Brewery, and Cedar Park Diner). Stroll the architecturally distinct neighborhood defined by its late Victorian style architecture, with porches, front gardens, mature trees and green spaces, like Cedar Park, Clark Park, and the Woodlands. Cedar Park and Clark Park hosts cultural events and a farmers’ market. Here you can find Shakespeare in the Park, jazz and hip hop, chess and petanque players, playground for children, people walking their dogs, or just people enjoying the sun. The 34 SEPTA trolley runs on Baltimore Avenue, and has bike lanes for easy access to universities and Center City with all its historic, cultural and culinary offerings . Free street parking is available in front of the house. Airports: Philadelphia Airport ( 20 min) and Newark/New York Airport ( 1.5h).
