About Me
Native New Yorker, 'indigenous' Brooklyn poet and painter. Retired Emeritus Professor of Literacy and Media Studies, from the Graduate and University Center, CUNY . Currently writing an inquiry into the history and nature of the 'instant' in contemporary culture. Travels across the Mediterranean, including Crete, Italy and Spain. Lisa Lincoln, my partner, is a ceramics sculptor. We are both invigorated by the sense of place we experienced in rural Greece and the Basque country. We wish to explore the quality of life on the continent in view of the possibility of moving abroad.
