House close to centre of London, Summer 2019

Modern terraced house on residential road. Excellent location near centre of London. 3 bedrooms: a double, a single, and a twin.

We're interested in a swap (or possibly in renting the place out) in Summer 2019 - see date range below - and, if you're interested in a swap, are open to suggestions – we're looking for a nice place for a holiday for a family of four. We've used sabbatical homes successfully before: we can put you in touch with previous tenants/houseswaps.

The house has a plain exterior but is very comfortable inside, with lots of light. It is in a perfect location for visitors to London. You can walk to the Thames in 10 mins, 20 mins to Tate Britain, 30 to Big Ben or the South Bank Centre. Walk in about 8 minutes either to Vauxhall tube (Zone 1, Victoria Line, plus large bus station and overland rail straight to Waterloo / Kew etc.) or, in the other direction, to Oval (Northern Line, buses) – both lines direct to the British Library and central London. Thirty-eight different bus routes pass within 10 minutes' walk! - and fan out all over London. Nice park at end of road with lawns, trees, café, playground, tennis courts. Close to several supermarkets and numerous small shops, cafés, and some great restaurants and pubs. Farmers' market on Saturdays.

Ground floor:
- Kitchen/living room with extending table, two sofas, dishwasher, CD player etc.;
- TV room/study, with sofa that converts into double bed;
-Small yard off kitchen/living room with planting and small table.

Floor 2:
- 1 twin: one of the beds is a pull-out, with a proper mattress, the other a normal single bed. Piano;
- 1 single bedroom: another good sized room.

Floor 3:
- 1 double bedroom with walk-in wardrobe;
- small study;
- 2nd bathroom/WC.
