Charming Manhattan first floor apartment in heart of West Village

The West Village is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in all of NYC. My cozy apartment is conveniently located on the first floor in the front of my 1889 brownstone building. A large window in the living room frames the quiet, charming Barrow Street. Two subway stations are within easy walking distance, as are many high-quality restaurants, Off Broadway theaters, boutiques, delis and several parks – including Hudson River Park and Christopher Pier. A new upscale grocery store is just 2 blocks away, laundry service is one block away.

About Me
After a 30-year career in social services as a public policy adviser and advocate in Oregon, I started my own business as a meeting facilitator in 2010. For 5 years I provided facilitation services for government, non-profits, arts organizations, and higher education. In 2015 I jumped at an opportunity to sublet a small apartment in the heart of the West Village in New York City, where I still reside. I've traveled extensively in North and Central America, Europe, and the Caribbean. I spend a great deal of time immersed in the cultural offerings of NYC, especially theater (my first career was as an actor). I also like to write, and this city is forever stimulating my creative juices. When living in or visiting a city, I prefer to be located in a walkable neighborhood. I'm allergic to cats, but other than that, I'm pretty low maintenance.
