Very modern house next to Danube in Vienna, Austria

Our house was built in 2010 (highest energy standards, PV system, lots of other tech. specs), (4 bedrooms and an office), is located in a quiet sub-urban area close to the Danube and large parks (inc. Donauturm), and gives access to two undergrounds (U1 and U6). In summer, there is great swimming in the Old or New Danube. Shops are at a little distance (2 km or 5 minutes bike ride or bus).

Looking after watering the garden in the summer (with automatic sprinkler system) and feeding the cat would be desirable.

On Google Maps, it is actually the modern house with the PV system on the roof next to the road, not the one in the back.

Hello! I am a university professor for ecological economics, did my PhD in the U.S. and worked for 9 years in the U.K. We live with our daugther in a beautiful new house next to the Danube in Vienna, which has a sub-urban feel with a lot of nature, incl. lovely for swimming in the summer. But still, you are in around 15-20 minutes right in the centre of Vienna because our public transport system is pretty good. The underground system can be reached either with the bicycle (4 min) or the bus (5 min, though not that regular). Once on the underground (U1), it takes 9 minutes to the centre. The U6 is even closer, though it does not really lead to the universities.
