Solar powered seaside gem

This 2 bedroom cottage has been restored from a country old ruin just outside a rural hamlet in Galicia, the north west region of Spain.
The cottage is designed to disconnect from modern technology and return to simple living, peace and tranquility for reflexion, creativity and restoration. As such the cottage has a near 0% carbon footprint, with electricity powered solar panels, on demand gas heated hot water, and a very efficient wood burning stove/heater to heat the whole house.
My neighbor and partner Rosa lives 200m down the hill and is available at any time to help resolve any issues at the house as well as to do laundry and light cleaning.
The house is situated on a hill overlooking spectacular views of the ocean; is easy walking distance to the local beach, a 5 minute drive/20 minute walk to the town of Porto do Son equipped with stores and a public library; it is a 40 minute drive into the historic cathedral city of Santiago de Compostela with university campus.
The immediate area boasts celtic ruins and iron age petroglyphs, pristine beaches, hiking trails though moors, mountains, hamlets and beaches.

About Me
My university studies are long past and my most active years of parenting are also done, the nest is empty except for 2 cats, ideas abound and the world calls out with endless opportunities for travel, learning and creativity ...as much as a freelance work schedule will allow. I am a visual artist based in New York City and I work freelance for various companies as a fashion and prop stylist, set designer, or whatever else they may need me to come up with. On downtime I continue to work on a beloved cottage that has become my haven and contrast to the fast pace of New York City. It is a cottage that has been restored from a century old ruin to a charming 2 bedroom home in a forgotten hamlet of Galicia in northern Spain some 35 minutes drive from the University town of Santiago de Compostela and an hour from Pontevedra. It is a place blessed with beauty (unparalleled views), peace and tranquility. The cottage is designed to disconnect and restore, so while it can receive cel tower phone and data signal through whatever one's phone plan may be, it remains wifi free, off the electric grid, powered by solar panels and heated with an effective wood burning stove/heater. I am able to share this gem part time through airbnb and now sabbatical homes with like-minded travelers - those who yearn to put aside the entrapments of technology and immediate gratification to return to themselves, to nature, to simple living, to idle moments that give rise to creative thinking, to the reading and perhaps writing of books, to the enjoyment and perhaps making of music.
