Two bedroom townhouse in Abbotsford (Inner West)

Neat two level townhouse built in 2000. Two bedrooms, 1 large bathroom and 1 ensuite. Rear courtyard with small garden. Outdoor gas bbq.

There's good access to the city via a 7min walk to Abbotsford ferry and the place is right on two city bus routes (438 and 504). Good access to USyd and UTS by public transport.

It's a quiet suburb surrounded by water. It's a 3 minute walk to harbourside. Walks and parks are nearby, including a 7km Bay run/cycle path around Iron Cove, a beautiful bay that is an extension of Sydney Harbour.

Large nearby supermarkets in Wareemba (10 min walk) and Five Dock. Great proximity to restaurants in Five Dock, Balmain, Drummoyne, Haberfield and Leichhardt.

About Me
Rich Mildren (Australian Research Council Future Fellow 2010-2014) is a professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. His research is in the development of novel and versatile lasers, instrumentation and applications. His PhD and early postdoctoral research was in high power gas lasers. He has studied ultrafast lasers at the National Research Council in Pisa, Italy. For 3 years (2005-2008) he led R&D for a University spin-off company in wavelength-switchable medical lasers, during which time he brought several medical laser products through to the stage of medical device regulatory approval. His most recent focus, conducted in the MQ Photonics Research Centre, is in the properties of advanced optical materials, particularly diamond. Conferences and collaborations have provided plenty of great travel opportunities including UK, Italy, USA, Russia and Iran.
