Our rural historic village is nestled near the Blue Ridge, but only 20 minutes from University of Virginia (UVA) and 25 minutes from downtown Charlottesville. We are convenient to wineries, local hiking and Skyline Drive, near Monticello and Wintergreen. Our 200-year old cottage has modern amenities, as well as privacy and lovely garden areas to enjoy the air. DSL Internet WiFi is included.

There is a lovely screened porch for outdoor dining, full kitchen with utensils and is decorated with antiques and local art. There grounds feature a large lawn and sitting areas by the Batesville creek.

We live in a historical rural village near Charlottesville, VA. We are about 20 minutes drive from University of Virginia (UVA), near the Blue Ridge mountains, Skyline Drive, the Appalachian Trail, Virginia wineries, great biking and hiking. Our historic farmhouse is divided into two private apartments with access to relaxing gardens, lawn and a babbling brook... plenty of room for privacy and contemplation in a rural setting.
