About Me
I am a semi-retired professor of dental medicine and PhD in microbiology. As a life-long scientist, I have had 4 sabbatical leaves, each time with the challenge of finding comfortable, quiet lodgings. With that in mind, I've designed and managed several small homes close to downtown Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan. Access to parks and public transportation, I realize most visiting professors prefer simplicity and not experience the hassle of owning and parking an automobile. Our homes are close to the University and shopping, restaurants. We live that way ourselves. Less is more and Ann Arbor has an abundance of venues for those who appreciate a quality of life few cities in the US can offer.

My wife and I had a great experience with Page. We rented the Fountain House, next to Ann Arbor downtown, an excellent location. It is a cottage house, which is the perfect size for my family (we have two children). Page was a helpful landlord and sorted out all our requests: he installed A/C units during the summer and changed the sofa for a more comfortable one. Also, he came regularly to cut the grass and always asked us if we had demands to improve our place. His wife, Kik, is a lovely person too. She left cupcakes and cute socks for my kids at our porch on Christmas' Eve. I know, you are looking for a good place to stay, not the perfect landlord. However, I have to say that they were key persons to our fantastic experience in Ann Arbor. The kitchen has all the appliances, and the bathroom is in excellent condition as well. The Fountain House is a cozy place, and we would recommend it with no restrictions. Excellent Daigo Oliva 12/27/2018 2:32:00 PM
