About Balmain:
Bus stops and 2 ferry stations are just minutes away, leading a short drive to Sydney University, University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Notre Dame University, the Royal Prince Alfred hospital (RPA) and CBD. Cycling tracks are in the area makes cycling a healthy option as quick as 20 minutes bicycle ride to the above areas. We have 2 adult bikes and 3 kid bikes (small-medium size) available.

Balmain is a peninsula suburb west of Sydney’s city centre. The area is one of Sydney’s oldest suburbs with lots of history, sandstone & unique buildings. Balmain is now a colourful and artistic suburb, home to some of Australia’s best-known writers, actors, film directors, musicians and artists. Balmain is home to an abundance of delightful parks, off-leash parks, children playgrounds and reserves. Many are located by the water with magnificent views of Sydney harbour. Unique old pubs, retail and restaurants at reasonable prices. Local markets (Balmain market, Rozelle market and Orange grove market) on the weekends as well as Jazz bands and other low key relaxing social events. Great people and neighbours.

Balmain has several excellent primary schools and one local high school as well as an array of child care centres.

A big supermarket is 200 meters away operating from 7:30am to midnight. There are many other local food store and health food stores in the area Balmain and Rozelle.
