Charming four bedroom cottage in Baltimore; ideal for visiting professor
Surrounded by old growth trees in a great neighbourhood (quiet and residential, but walk to shops, restaurants and market), our house on the desirable Northeast side of Baltimore is a well-maintained bungalow on three floors (plus basement), built 100 years ago, in the 1920's. High speed wi-fi included.
The house has a good feel to it. Top floor is a converted attic, now a cozy master bedroom w/ bath. Middle floor has full bathroom recently renovated, three bedrooms or offices (one large, two small). The ground floor has lovely hard wood flooring through living and dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen with stone floor. There's a working fireplace in the living room, and lots of wood stacked outside that you are free to use. New washer and dryer in the basement. Pleasant little front and back porch, garden and fenced yard.
(My attempted photos do not do it justice... more to come!) Very friendly neighbours-- in short, it's all you could want for a sabbatical or writing retreat rental.
Convenient to Johns Hopkins campus, Loyola University, Goucher. 15 minute drive to UMD.
