Two-level penhouse, gorgeous views, very quiet, well communicated

The apartment is in the tallest building, at the top of a hill: el Putxet, in the upper part of Barcelona. In the front it faces the Putxet Park, with spectacular views of the city and the sea. In the back it has an ample view of the Tibidabo, the 500 m high hill behind the city, sports center, only 150 m from the house, including a 20m swimming pool, spa, solarium, cafeteria, and exercise rooms (https://www.putxetsport.cat/es/principal/inici/) Two Metro stations are only 3 and 5 blocks away: Metro Line III (green) and FFCC Tibidabo line, plus many bus lines. Yet the street is very quiet because only the neighbors use it. Several shops, cafeterias, and supermarkets are located between 3 and 6 blocks away. Upper level (70 m2) has one small room with two beds and a very large space furnished as office. Lower level has 95 m2 plus two terraces that add up to 27 m2. I don't think we could have found a better place for our family of three in BCN. It is located in a 4 minute walk from the green metro line which is the line that seems to go to all the key locations in BCN, from the social science UB campus, to the main UB campus at the end of the line, the train station, even Camp Nou for soccer fans. The apartment is on the top floor on a building at the top of the hill. This means the views are amazing from every window. It is across the street from a quiet and spacious park. I don't think it is common to find a street as quiet and with as little traffic as the one this apartment is located on. It is a very quiet building with quiet residents. While the walk uphill can be a good workout, there are route options to use outdoor escalators without a problem. We walked the hill several times per day to justify eating all the great bakery goods at the bottom of the hill ;-) The main shopping street is 3 blocks away and all groceries are available there. I cannot emphasize how nice it was to have access to fresh seafood, meat, organic farm produce, bread, and dairy products within a short walk. One of the most excellent private hospitals/medical centers in the country is within walking distance. There are several excellent and well-known K-12 schools also within walking distance. The gym with a salt-water pool and paddle courts is across the street, too. The upstairs was ideal for a couple working from home with a lots of desk space. Our interactions with the owner were always prompt and clear. The place is well maintained and very organized. The owner offers contact information for a person who can do housekeeping, as well.
