Beautiful cottage on a river mill estate
La Grange du Moulin (the mill's barn) is located in a valley by a river and surrounded by woods.
There is 10 ha of land in the property with wonderful walks around.
There is something special to our place, the peace, the songs of the birds in the air.
The space
This is a 16th century house that has been beautifully renovated and modernized. The space is located in a beautiful and quite magical environment - surrounded by nature and wildlife. It is very peaceful.
The location is a perfect base for day trips around the Loire Valley, for a peaceful retreat, to rest and relax.
There is a river and pond around the house. Please be aware if you come with children. Owners are not responsible if any accident happen. Thank you.
Your space
Upstairs: There are 3 bedrooms (2 with queen beds and 1 with bunk beds and with desks) and a full shower/toilet/sink.
Downstairs: There is an equipped kitchen and a 1 toilet. The Living room has big door/windows that opens to the back little terrace and there is another terrasse to the side of the house, attached to the kitchen. The living room is nicely furnished with a couch, 2 armchairs, a wood stove, a desk (or 2), etc...
You have access to attached sheep fields, a swing, and lots of nature around.
The owners live on the estate in a separate house.
There is an indoor heated pool that you can access all year round at agreed hours with owners.
Location
The house is located 2,5 kms from a very beautiful village called Montresor. It is labelled as one of France most beautiful village.
There is a bakery (very good), pharmacy, a small supermarket, a newspaper, souvenirs store, a garage, the Cafe de la ville, a coffee/restaurant place, a pizza place and Barapom, a crepe place (excellent!)
The village has a lot of history to share: a beautiful castle you can visit, church, market place and little walks around the village that you will enjoy.
