Family-Sized Sublet Duplex with Garden in Clinton Hill 4/15 - July 8 (flex)

My family is leaving the country in April for 3 months and we are seeking to rent out our apartment in the meantime. Ideally, we could find a family to take the bulk of the time, but are open to various arrangements. $3500/month, $1000/week, negotiable. We're also offering a deep discount for those willing to share the space with our two kid-friendly cats.

LISTING:

Extra-large duplex ground floor apartment in Clinton Hill for rent for three months, April 15 - July 8th (flexible). 1900 square feet. It's a rare amount of space, perfect for a family: two bedrooms plus a nursery and a separate dining room that can be converted into a 3rd twin bedroom. It has two outdoor spaces, two full bathrooms, a generous living room, dining room, and home office area. Fully furnished and decorated by two world-travelers.

It’s a first floor apartment (step-free entrance at grade) in a four-story building with two other owner-occupied units, newly constructed (2015) with all modern conveniences: large refrigerator, dishwasher, washer-dryer, oven, heat/AC, fast wifi, Roku TV (Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc.), and Sonos wireless speakers in every room. On the ground floor, you enter into a large living room and open kitchen. The kitchen has ample counter space; it’s fit for passionate cooks. A large flat screen TV is flanked by books in a mid-century modern bookcase with a fold-out bar. Past the living room is one of the full bathrooms, the master bedroom (with two large closets) and a separate dining room (seating for 8) that leads to the large, decked and furnished outdoor space. In the backyard, feel free to use our smoker grill or to tend and use our herb garden (or just leave the plants alone and enjoy the rose bushes!)

On the lower level you will find a large, open-plan room (~800 square feet) with a double bed and a comfy twin-convertible couch. High ceilings enhance the roomy feel with the natural light flowing in from a light well that also serves as a second, more intimate, outdoor reading space. This level has its own full bathroom, two desks that can be used as home offices, and a separate nursery with a crib that can be used as a third small bedroom, plus more books and a vinyl record player.

Our block is a diverse collection of housing with several playgrounds. We are two blocks from two colleges, the Pratt Institute and St Joseph’s College. Very close to a number of good coffee shops, bars, music venues, and restaurants on Franklin, Bedford, and Grand. Less than a mile to the west is bustling Fort Greene with its famous park and even more restaurants and nightlife. To the east is historic Bed-Stuy, and north is Williamsburg. We’re less than a block from the G train and a ten minute walk from the C train, which makes all of lower Manhattan and most of Brooklyn and Queens accessible within a half hour subway ride.

Deep discount available if you would like to share the home with our two kid-friendly and charming orange tabby cats.
