About Me
My wife and I are both semi-retired, active and bicoastal, meaning we have a pied a terre in Brooklyn and a four bedroom home in Berkeley, CA. I was a newspaper reporter first, then a lawyer, and finally a Japanese style furniture designer and builder. My wife is a PhD statistician who consults part time and spends most of her time sculpting in stone. Our home is a unique, I think beautiful, and comfortable place on an extremely quiet and friendly street in the Berkeley Hills, 1 1/2 miles from University of California. It's on a bus line that goes to the campus and downtown area. I own and manage an artists' live-work warehouse building in Berkeley and have my wood shop there.
