Conveniently located, beautifully remodeled, completely furnished one bedroom apartment with fully equipped kitchen. Dishwasher, Roku TV, latex queen mattress in bedroom, and plentiful cabinet space. Living room couch also converts to a comfortable full size bed. Five-minute walk to BART (METRO): ride to San Francisco 23 minutes, UCB 4 minutes. Berkeley Bowl (a great supermarket) is in close walking distance. Includes all dishes, cookware, sheets, towels. The space The apartment is recently remodeled with quality appliances and fixtures. The space is very suitable for two adults, or two adults and an infant. Very sunny with beautiful garden areas. Guest access: Guest are more than welcome to enjoy the garden areas. Interaction with guests: I am semi-retired and work at home so I am here most of the time to offer any assistance. I enjoy experiencing new people and hearing about their lives and travels. I also understand that some people want to have more privacy and I am glad to accommodate them as well. I will make every effort to help you enjoy your stay in the Bay Area. Other things to note: South Berkeley has the best micro-climate in the Bay Area. It is part of an area that is known as the banana belt, i.e., very little fog compared to north Berkeley. It is a short walk to BART (METRO) and Berkeley Bowl (an excellent unique grocery store). It is about a 10 minute drive to Tilden Park, the Berkeley Marina or the Gourmet Ghetto.
