Berlin-Schöneberg, four rooms in a beautiful 1900 appartment, close to Winterfeldtplatz and Goltzstrasse: 9 to 30 months

We (a family of five) are offering a beautiful and bright flat in a quiet street just around the corner from Barbarossaplatz, in walking distance from the underground lines U1, U2, U4 and U7 (which take you almost anywhere in Berlin, i.e. universities, train stations, airport). Located in a family-friendly house, our flat is approx. 1260 sq ft (approx. 117 square metres) with a total of four rooms, plus a kitchen, a bathroom with separate bathtub and shower, a storing closet and a balcony. The flat has one master bedroom equipped with a double bed and two further single bedrooms (one of those facing to the backyard) that are - depending on your preferences - equipped with two or three single beds (one of which could be a crib), and a large and bright living room. The flat is fully furnished and equipped with a gas cooker/oven, dishwasher, two fridges, washing machine, HIFI. The master bedroom is equipped with a large desk, the other two bedrooms with two normal sized writing desks.
Sheets, blankets and towels are provided as well.
The flat is on the second floor of a building from 1900, located in a cul-de-sac with hardly any traffic (speed limit in the area ('Kiez') is 19 mph). Most of the rooms are facing westerly direction with sunlight shining in all year. In the vicinity there are several bakeries and cafes, a delicatessen, a butcher, several supermarkets and vegetables stalls, a book shop, shoe repairs, dry cleaner, hairdressers, and stationery shop.
Five minutes walk away is the well-known Winterfeldplatz (with its farmers’ market twice a week) and the 'Goltzstrassenkiez' with all its cafes, restaurants and shops. Heinrich-von-Kleist-Park can also be reached within a short walk. The huge open park on the former airport Tempelhof (for roller blading, cycling, kiteflying etc.) can be easily reached. Luxurious KaDeWe department store and Ku’damm (Kurfürstendamm) are just three bus stops away.
To Berlin Zoo it’s just three more bus stops, the centrally located parc 'Tiergarten' (just perfect, if you want to start your day with a few kilometres running, strawl around with kids or even want to go for a little boat ride) with 'Schloss Bellevue' and the 'Reichstag' you can easily cycle to.
The fast railway link 'Berlin Südkreuz' and 'Berlin Zoo' station are also close by, which makes a daily commute to Potsdam or towns even further way (like Leipzig, Dresden etc.) an option.
The rent includes bills like garbage collection, house cleaning etc.
The charge for Internet as well as fixed-line-calls for standard numbers within Germany ("DSL Basic") could be optionally included in the rent at a moderate extra charge.
The monthly rent indicated applies to a minimum stay of Eleven months. For Shorter stays a slight uplift may apply. Electricity and gas come at an extra charge (together approx. 160,- EUR per month depending on actual actual consumption). Cleaning charge after your stay is EUR 390,- (you will also move into a fully cleaned flat).
