Spacious 2-bedroom home on a quiet side street, 5 minutes to subway, musicians welcome, LBGTQ friendly

Enjoy this spacious, floor-through two-bedroom apartment in a Victorian house on a tranquil side street of Jamaica Plain. Apartment is furnished and has full kitchen. Handily located, it's two blocks from the Southwest Corridor where you'll find bike and running trails and the T transit (Orange Line to Back Bay, Longwood Medical Area, Downtown Crossing and easy connections to Cambridge and Logan Airport). Discover the charms of Jamaica Plain: its locally-owned businesses, small breweries, cute coffee shops, art studios, and lots of nice outdoor space for recreation and relaxation.
One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a double bed, and there are small desks that can be put where you need them. There is a comfortable living room with a bay window, and a renovated eat-in kitchen equipped with cooking and table ware. Please inquire if you have specific needs not mentioned here.
High speed fiber optic WiFi is free of charge.
You have control of the temperature with zoned air conditioning and central heat.
Washer and dryer in the basement for your use.
Shared small back yard with deck.
Parking on street is free. Apartment is very well situated for public transit. Bike shares also nearby.
Several very nice parks nearby for walking, running, biking, and golf.
Oxford commas are welcome though not required.
About music: My home is in the unit above. I'm a maker and professor of music. Sometimes you may hear it, though my main rehearsal space is separated by two floors, and it's mostly acoustic music. Aside from the very occasional exuberant jam session, I'm a bookish person, and my social life runs to dinner parties more than dance parties.
Are you a musician? Use of an electronic keyboard could be arranged, as could negotiable use of my Bechstein 7' grand piano which lives in my apartment.

About Me
Hello! I am a professional cellist and composer, on faculty at Berklee College of Music. I'm originally from London, England. Besides the US, I have lived in Europe and Brazil, and I'm involved in the Brazilian music scenes in Boston and New York. I have lived in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston since 2007, and I love its open spaces, its diversity and progressive character. I look forward to meeting you should you choose to stay here!
