Three-bedroom home in Boston close to hospitals, universities, Harvard Medical School
We are a family of four (parents and two children, ages 7 and 10) living in a spacious 3-bedroom apartment with a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom in the Boston neighborhood of Jamaica Plain.
We are very close not only to Harvard Medical School and its associated hospitals in the Longwood area (a quick bus ride or about a 10 minute bike ride) but also to Northeastern University, Wentworth, Simmons, Boston University, and other institutions, most of which are easily accessible by both public transportation, foot, and bicycle.
We live on a very quiet dead-end street close to Boston's famous Emerald Necklace of parks, notably Jamaica Pond, perfect for running walking, or picnicking. Five-minute walk to Whole Foods grocery store and a number of restaurants, bars, and other shops. A 15 minute walk takes you to central Jamaica Plain, with an even wider range, to Brookline Village, or to the Green or Orange Line trains to access the rest of the region. The 39 bus stops frequently on the corner and takes you to Back Bay and major employers.
