Family home in bush setting close to The University of Queensland. Pool, privacy, space.

Our home is referred to by friends as "The Resort" as it is set in quiet sub-tropical bush set back from the street yet is only 12 minutes by car from The University of Queensland. On the same street is a well regarded primary/elementary school which makes it perfect for those with families. Indooroopilly High is en route to the university. The bedrooms are air-conditioned, there is a large a pool, and the house is fully furnished. A small "sewing room" could be used as a 4th bedroom. There is a separate library/media centre downstairs that has a fold-down sofa for that unexpected friend or family member who drops in to check out Australia. The house is close to a major shopping centre and public transport and our small but zippy Peugeot 207 is available if required (by covering insurance/registration costs).

This site did not easily support reviews when we used it last in 2015 but I can supply very positive feedback from Colleagues from Leeds, British Columbia, and Auckland Universities.

About Me
Paulie and Stephen had a great experience with "sabbaticalhomes.com" when they moved to France for 2015. Three visiting academic families reported having a grand time. Stephen has just completed a university contract, and it's time to head back again. Their family home is ready to again host a visiting family. Paulie is a freelance journalist and author who has been a TV & radio producer in the UK, New Zealand, and Australia. She has also been an academic at AUT University in Auckland. Stephen works in the university educational technology turf. He has been a general staff member at The University of Queensland & Bond University and was a teacher the distant past.
