The Cottage Farm neighborhood offers leafy suburban streets but also easy access to downtown Boston and nearby suburbs by public transport, Storrow and Memorial Drives and the Mass Pike. Restaurants, shops, and Whole Foods are only a block away as are parks and a nature reserve. Walk to Medical Area, Boston University, and Northeastern.
On the first floor of this family home, there is a large foyer, living and dining rooms (both with fire places), a study with access to the patio and garden, the kitchen area (butler's pantry, kitchen, breakfast room and mud room), and a half bath.
The second floor has three bedrooms that sleep up to 4 and a study with fireplace. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed, one has a double bed, and one has two twin beds. The master bedroom and the study overlook the private garden with patio and fountain. All have AC and ceiling fans and have been freshly repainted and the floors have been refinished recently.
Fully furnished with hardwood floors, fine rugs, piano, many books, housewares and linens. You only need to bring your clothing when you move in.
Wireless Internet is available throughout the house, cable TV upstairs and down, and printer/copier/fax/scanner in the study. The house has a security system, which tenants must use. There is an outdoor parking spot for one car. Washer and dryer are in the basement.
In addition to being conveniently located to many colleges and universities and Longwood Hospitals and Mass General, we are close to the Charles River, which is great for walks and bike rides. You can even walk to Fenway Park to watch the Red Sox play!
