Cambridge townhouse near Harvard - 4 levels, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bath, 3 private decks, and private garage

*2 options for renting

1) House share: rent an entire floor in a townhouse within 10-15 min commute to Harvard University (and subway station). 2BR, 2BA, shared common areas for $2500/mo (includes internet, bi-weekly house cleaning, some utilities).

2) Whole house: rent an entire 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 3 private decks, indoor parking garage for $3800/mo (includes internet, bi-weekly house cleaning, some utilities).

*The house has 4 floors, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 2-car garage, 3 private decks. For option 1 house sharing, you have private access to the top floor (2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, 2 decks). I live on the 2nd floor with my toddler. The 1st floor are shared common areas (dining, living, kitchen, bathroom, deck). The basement has storage space, indoor parking (for me, but I have a parking permit that lets you park right on our front steps), laundry. For option 2, you have the whole house to yourself.

*The development is very quiet and well-landscaped. This townhouse is set in the second row, so it is not directly on Huron Ave, but you can get to public transportation in under a minute.

*Walking distance to supermarkets, award-winning restaurants and cafes, golf course, Fresh Pond Reservation, and several daycare centers/public schools. A great location for children (playground across the street) and pets (Fresh Pond dog park).

*Ideal for 1-2 academics/professionals roommates spending a semester in Cambridge, or for a couple/family

*If you have any questions please email me

*A bit about me: I was born and partly raised in China; subsequently living, studying, and working in the Philippines, California, New York, Singapore, Beijing, and now Cambridge. I speak English, Mandarin, French, and some German. I am currently enrolled in graduate school and raising my toddler. In my spare time, I am a freelance writer and yoga teacher.

Happy house hunting!

About Me
I'm a Stanford University alumnus currently living in Boston, MA after two decades of traveling, living, and working internationally. I speak Mandarin, English, French, and a bit of German. My day job is in technology, my weekend / hobby jobs are freelance writing and yoga teaching. I was once a researcher for The New Yorker magazine's China correspondent Evan Osnos and my research appeared in his best-selling book "Chasing Ambition." Once every five years, I contemplate going back to school for a doctorate!
