About Me
Hello, We are a bi-national family. We have lived in Cambridge for many years. It is a wonderful city to raise a family. With our children getting older, we would like them to experience the other half of the culture into which they have been born. We will spend the academic school year abroad and return to Cambridge for the summer. For the academic school year, we would like to offer our family home for your sabbatical stay in Cambridge.

We rented this home for our family of four (two parents, and two middle-school-age children) through the 2019-2020 school year and had the best experience possible. Our hosts graciously furnished and maintained the house with our comfort in mind. Everything was in perfect order when we arrived and they did not hesitate to send maintenance people during the year when required. We felt at home.

The house suits a family well. The COVID quarantine hit during our stay and even with all of us in the house 'round the clock we found we had enough room and privacy to be comfortable. The kitchen is particularly well-furnished. We appreciated being in a historic and beautiful space, and loved the hand-hewn beams in the living room and basement and the pumpkin pine floor in the kids' room upstairs. Our favorite feature, however, was the private garden. It is a beautiful green space that is all your own, a luxury in the city.

Finally, we found the location remarkably convenient. We were just blocks from public transportation and the bus stop for the local schools. We loved being located between the Harvard part of Cambridge to the west and downtown Boston to the east, and could reach either destination in minutes. The house is also within walking distance of shopping (at the Cambridgeside Mall) and the walking/biking paths of the Charles River.

In short, we enthusiastically recommend this rental property. The owners are gracious and accommodating and will do their best to make your stay a good experience.

We rented this house for the academic year 2018/19 and quickly fell in love with it as well as with the neighborhood. The house is beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished. It is spacious, bright and very well equipped. We did not have to bring anything except for our clothes. The house is in a quiet, residential area with many amenities such as playgrounds, supermarkets and sports facilities very close. The landlords do everything to make us feel comfortable and help us out. Communication with them is swift and efficient. We would not hesitate one moment to rent the house again if we were to stay longer in Cambridge. If you are looking for a cozy home in a welcoming neighborhood, I cannot recommend this home highly enough. Excellent Chris 2/7/2019 4:45:00 PM
