Studio Apartment in Quiet Neighborhood near UNC

The Studio Apartment is in a quiet, safe and attractive neighborhood near UNC Memorial Hospital, UNC's main campus and downtown Chapel Hill. The studio apartment comes fully furnished. It is attached to the landlords home. The studio apartment has approx. 410 sq. ft. of living space which includes a living/dinning room, a bedroom area, a kitchen, a bathroom. If desired, the bedroom can be separated from the main living space and kitchen by a screen as shown in the photos. It has a private entrance and dedicated parking space. It is perfect for a single person.

Specific distances to Medical and Academic Departments at UNC range from 1 mile to 2 miles. While a car is useful, it is not a necessity for most tenants working at UNC. If fact, nearly all prior UNC associated tenants, including those with a car, have chosen to walk or bike to UNC. Other tenants associated with UNC have chosen to take the free express bus from the NC Botanical Gardens main entrance. The bus stop is about a 0.6 mile walk from the apartment. The bus comes by every 20 minutes and makes stops at UNC Memorial Hospital, UNC central campus/downtown Chapel Hill and The Friday Center. You can easily transfer to all Chapel Hill area buses from these four stops. Uber and Lift are readily available.

All utilities, plus WIFI and cable TV (basic channels) are included in the monthly rent. (A washing machine and dryer are available for tenant use in landlords home)

Hiking/ Nature Watching. For those that like to hike/or enjoy nature watching, the N.C. Botanical Garden and Hunt Arboretum have 3 or 4 miles of trails. These trails begin approx. 200 yards from the apartment.

Restrictions: No smokers, No pets

References. Landlord requires references from prospective tenants. Landlord will provide references contact information of prior tenants to prospective tenants, if requested.
