About Me
After long careers working in the public interest in the US, from 1997 to 2011 my husband (Jim) and I lived and worked in Croatia, Malawi, and Nigeria as advisers on governance, community development, economic development and project management. We returned to the US in 2011 so we could be closer to children and grandchildren, though I continued to work part time, remotely in Nigeria. I recebtkt completed a graduate program at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at University of North Carolina. We spend summers at our home in Vermont – ideally from May through October – and the rest of the year in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where one of our sons lives with his family. We have a lovely spacious apartment in Chapel Hill in a quiet complex with many amenities. We would like to conserve financial resources by sub-letting our apartment while we are in Vermont.
