Beautiful garden studio, close to city, parks and public transport

This light-filled studio apartment is located in a quiet garden setting, with a shared pool, surrounded by trees, vines and lawns.

The large airy studio features two main rooms and a garden terrace. The studio is comfortably furnished with a queen-size bed, large sofa-bed, TV with inbuilt DVD player, book shelves and a large wall desk. There are generous wardrobes and drawers, include ironing facilities. It is also equipped with air conditioning and heater. It is very light filled with windows and doors looking out on to a generous garden setting and shared in ground pool.

A timbered sliding door separates the living room space from the fully equipped kitchen which includes a bench top cooker, dishwasher, microwave oven and under-bench front-loader washing machine and dining area. The adjacent self-contained bathroom features handbasin, shower and toilet.

From the kitchen, a glass door opens onto a light-filled pool terrace with a BBQ and a wrought iron table setting.

Access to the studio Is via the shared driveway and garden path. The garden and pool is a shared space but the studio is private, and has its own small patio with table and chairs. This space is screened from view from the main house.

The property is in a beautiful location in a leafy historic street surrounded by parklands. It is only a three minute walk to shops and public transport including, trains, trams and buses.

Clifton Hill, centred on the nearby Queens Parade shopping Street, contains a great diversity of shops and facilities that are perfectly located for your stay.

We are a small family with a boy aged twelve and a two your old dog called Dashi who live in the main house. Privacy is assured although we are happy to help with any questions you may have.

About Me
We are a family of three with a love of gardens, landscape and travel. We have affiliations with a number of universities in Melbourne. The male (PL) is an adjunct professor, with a PhD and masters qualifications, whilst the female (AW) is undertaking a PhD and has recently completed teaching at undergraduate level at Melbourne University. Our son is completing primary school.

Great apartment, great location, and friendly owners! We stayed here for 6 months (January - July 2019) while I was on appointment as a Fulbright Scholar in the CBD. We found the neighborhood delightful and safe, and the CBD was just a short train or tram ride away. Several good shops, parks, cafes, and restaurants are within walking distance. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay; the shared pool was wonderful in the hot weather! The owners were always quick to respond to any requests and address any issues that arose. We highly recommend this unit, and are looking forward to coming back some day!
