1910 Craftsman style bungalow in Denver's Park Hill neighborhood, close to DIA, Boulder, and Front Range mountain trails & ski resorts

This lovely home is a 1910 Craftsman-style two-story brick bungalow. It is fully furnished and features three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It also has a spacious front porch and a backyard with a grill, a garden, and outdoor dining table. There is a home office on the ground floor and a television room in the basement. See below for description of layout.

The home is located in Denver's desirable Park Hill neighborhood, walking distance from several coffee shops, local markets, City Park, and the Museum of Nature and Science. Park Hill is on the NE side of Denver, an easy drive from DIA, and to Boulder. Also close to hiking trails along the Front Range and to ski resorts.

The home is laid out in the following way. The first floor includes a living room, dining room, kitchen, office, and a full bathroom with a shower. The bathroom has been updated and so has the kitchen, which features a new refrigerator, microwave, and a range with an electric oven and gas burners. The living room has a very warm heat-producing gas fireplace that makes it cozy on winter nights. The home is cooled by a newly installed evaporative cooler during the summer months.

On the second floor, the home has three bedrooms and a full bathroom with a claw foot tub. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, a walk in closet, and two dressers. The smallest bedroom has a queen-sized bed, two closets, and one dresser. The third bedroom is a large former sleeping porch that has been winterized and holds two double beds; it also features built in shelves and a walk in closet.

The basement includes a TV room with a large screen TV and several sofas, a laundry room, a second refrigerator, and a tool closet. The home also includes a front porch with a porch swing and two rocking chairs, as well as a backyard that features a small lawn and a garden with redbud trees, spirea, virburnam, roses, lilacs, and day lilies. Plus an outdoor grill and an outdoor dining area and a hammock.

About Me
I am a lifelong journalist and author who teaches narrative nonfiction writing at the college level at Regis University in their MFA program. My home is in Denver, Colorado, on the northeast side of town, making travel to Boulder easy, and getting to and from the Denver airport easy as well. The Museum of Nature and Science and Denver's lovely City Park are both walking distance from my home. Fall 2020 I will be working as a visiting professor in a journalism program at a college on the East Coast and will rent my home September 1 - December 15.
