Downtown Durham (2 minute walk to Duke University East Campus)

I rented this apartment for the Spring Semester at Duke. It was a very nicely kept, and a good size for me and my dog. From the word go, the landlady was outstanding. Highly personable, and communicated well with me via email, before and after viewing the apartment, up through move-in day, and even kept me apprised of weather conditions as I was preparing to move in at the beginning of the year. She was very responsive whenever I had any questions. She even provided some accessories for my dog. I learned later that she used to run a Bed and Breakfast, and I have no doubt she was magnificent at that, also. I was also impressed with Duke Tower Condominiums overall. (The name may change at some point.) It has a very nice setup with a beautiful courtyard in the center, and there are monthly socials. They upgraded by adding gates and renovating the swimming pool while I was there. I truly enjoyed my time in Durham, and would gladly live here again if I ever return. It's a nice neighborhood, 10-15 minute walk to downtown or to Duke's East Campus (with excellent shuttle service to West Campus), and lots of places to take the dog for a walk.
