About Me
I relocated to Durham NC May 2015 to be close to family and two grand children and purchased a town home on their block, as well as two condos in downtown Durham. I have travelled the world extensively and run a successful bed and breakfast business in Newton Ma where I established and ran Soul Sanctuary focussing to working with people with chronic diseases, cancer survivors and international refugees and trauma survivors and lived for twenty five years. I am enjoying my time here as a grandmother, landlord, and world traveler, taking on a few private therapeutic yoga clients.

I rented this apartment for the Spring Semester at Duke. It was a very nicely kept, and a good size for me and my dog.

From the word go, the landlady was outstanding. Highly personable, and communicated well with me via email, before and after viewing the apartment, up through move-in day, and even kept me apprised of weather conditions as I was preparing to move in at the beginning of the year. She was very responsive whenever I had any questions. She even provided some accessories for my dog. I learned later that she used to run a Bed and Breakfast, and I have no doubt she was magnificent at that, also.

I was also impressed with Duke Tower Condominiums overall. (The name may change at some point.) It has a very nice setup with a beautiful courtyard in the center, and there are monthly socials. They upgraded by adding gates and renovating the swimming pool while I was there. I truly enjoyed my time in Durham, and would gladly live here again if I ever return. It's a nice neighborhood, 10-15 minute walk to downtown or to Duke's East Campus (with excellent shuttle service to West Campus), and lots of places to take the dog for a walk.
