Furnished Character Home in Old Strathcona

Our fully furnished home in the heart of Old Strathcona
Just minutes from downtown & the University of Alberta.

$2500/mth for the including utilities and internet. ($1200 damage deposit required)
We are looking to rent our fully furnished 4 bdrm, 3 bthrm, two-story home to a mature responsible tenant for 6 1/2 weeks. This home sleeps up to 10 adults and 2 small children. The lease term is July 1st to August 15th, 2018.
This is a century-character Old Strathcona home, located a half block to Mill Creek Ravine, and 5 minutes walk to the river, within walking distance to Whyte Avenue, close to U of A and downtown.

Upper floor:
Three separate bedrooms (one king, one queen and kids bunk room) as well as a full bathroom with a shower unit.
- The spacious master bedroom (15’x 22’) has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, and a 55-inch TV.
- Bedrooms 2 and 3 are of similar size (8’ x 16’) and look out to the front and rear of the house. One bedroom has a twin bed, toddler bed, and dresser, and the other has a queen bed and 2 dressers, as well as an attached 4.5’ x 20’ upper balcony.

Main floor:
Newly renovated throughout including full bathroom with tub/shower unit, modern kitchen and hardwood floors in living/dining rooms. There is closed-off entryway/boot room and an office with a double bed and desk on the main floor as well as a walk-in pantry and linen closet. Dimensions are Kitchen 8’ x 21’, bath 8’x 7’, pantry 6’ x 6’, dining & living room (open) 12’ x 22’, office 12’ x 14’. South facing deck 30’ x 10’ with a propane barbeque. There is a piano in the livingroom.

Basement:
Bedroom (9" x 14") with queen bed and closet and attached bathroom (9" x 7"), sitting room (9" x 20") with washer, dryer & access to utilities.

Roommate: There is an independent female cat who also lives here, but there is a self-feeder machine, and she mainly stays outdoors unless it is very cold outside or raining. You are welcome to bring your own small dog or friendly cats.

Edmonton's remarkable river valley system runs along the edge of this quiet and secluded neighbourhood and can be accessed just a half block from the house. A Spanish Immersion elementary school is approximately 1.5 km away, and school bussing may be provided to it. Another elementary school is within walking distance.

The rental includes all furniture, bed linens, towels, complete kitchen in terms of cookware, dinnerware and utensils. There will also be a DVD player, some movies, kids DVDs etc.

House located in great location. Avenue very safe and lovely neighbours all around. Owners very prompt and resourceful. Kind and friendly. Warm home in the winter and cool in the summer. Enough space for small family and child safe. Home is full of necessities and a few extras. Beautiful fenced yard for small children. Would reccomend if posted again.
