I am almost reluctant to tell anyone how great and wonderful this apartment is, for fear that I will never be able to stay there again!

In a word, this apartment was perfect in every aspect. Mark, the owner, was incredibly responsive and welcoming. He greeted me on arrival and showed me the various aspects of the apartment. He couldn't be nicer, and he always answered my messages within minutes, if not seconds.

The apartment could not be more centrally located. Steps to the Great Portland Street tube, a few minutes to the Warren Street and Regents Park stations. UCL is a 10 minute walk. I walked to LSE, which took about 45 minutes, partially down the lovely Great Titchfield St.

The apartment itself is stunning. The view down Great Titchfield St. makes the living room seem huge and is incredibly sunny (when the sun is shining, at least). The kitchen is fully equipped, also with a washer/dryer combo and dishwasher. The bathroom (with tub) is bright and cheery, and the separate bedroom is comfortable. The bed is fantastic.

The living room, apart from the view, is lovely, with a big screen TV, DVD player, and fast internet. Mark has also equipped the apartment with a Sonos speaker in the living room and bedroom.

The apartment is perfect for one or two people.

In sum, I cannot a better place to have spent my research stay in London. Everything was perfect, and Mark was the perfect host. I just hope that I'll be able to stay there again on my next extended visit to London.
